Rockland Sales Assistant

Essential Duties:
v Act as a liaison between the representative and their clients.
v As directed by the representative, based on client needs, run product illustrations, graphs, charts, etc. for presentation to the client by the representative.
v Provide clerical support including the mailing of approved correspondence, photocopying, answering the representative's telephone and communicating messages.
v Maintain representative's file organization.

v College funding products including ESAs and 529 plans
v Asset allocation strategy
v Time value of money
v Prospecting and telephone techniques
v Compliance training
Educational and Background Requirements:
v High School diploma or equivalent
v Some college preferred
v FINRA licenses S6, S63, and NY State Life Insurance License required
v Strong verbal communication skills with a customer-service focus
v Strong organizational skills
v Ability to meet deadlines
v Proficient use of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
