Financial Services Trainer

POSITION SUMMARY:
By implementing and conducting FFS branch office training programs, ensures the maximum effectiveness of representatives in our Rockland branch office. Works with representatives of all experience levels to monitor effectiveness of sales training delivered.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Deliver effective sales training (developed by subject matter experts and vendors). Training includes, but is not limited to, products, tools, resources, industry training and practice management.
In conjunction with the Assistant Manager-New Representative Development and the Branch Manager, responsible for improving early-career representative retention.
Through training opportunities, support representatives at all levels in the branch to improve performance year-over-year.
Monitor and report on the effectiveness/impact of training programs by measuring representative activity and production.
Conduct ongoing needs analysis/assessments.
Tracks training attendance.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
FINRA Series 6 or 7; 63; 65 or 66; and appropriate state life & health licenses
EXPERIENCE AND BACKGROUND REQUIREMENTS:
5 years minimum experience in the financial services industry required
Familiar with standard sales concepts, practices and procedures
Strong public speaking, presentation and facilitation skills required
Training and leadership experience preferred
Learn Branch Office procedures and best practices quickly upon assuming the role

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
