These tasks can range from simple to complex, such as cleaning up the site, digging trenches, and building whatever is necessary for the specific job.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES ? Perform a variety of daily construction tasks at the direction of construction managers and team leads.
? Digging trenches and backfill holes to prepare for the construction site.
? Clean and prepare the construction site as needed, including removing hazardous materials and debris from the worksite.
? Operating equipment and heavy machinery used in construction sites.
? Loading and unloading building materials.
? Assisting in the plumbing of pools and hot tubs.
? Follow all safety procedures on the job site and report violations immediately to management.
? Maintain a safe and clean job site by handling materials and storing them properly, picking up and removing all tools and equipment when not in use, and securing the job site on a daily basis.
? Ensure that all work activities are carried out in a safe and efficient manner, and in compliance with government and company PPE (Personal Protection Equipment) standards.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS ? Experience in general construction.
? Skilled in operating basic hand and power tools.
? Ability to operate a skid-steer (bobcat) and forklift.
? Motivated to learn.
? Ability to work independently and stay focused.
? Attention to detail and quality workmanship.
? Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and overtime.
? Valid Driver's License required.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS ? Sitting, Standing, and Walking for long durations.
? Ability to operate in confined spaces (accessing crawl spaces) ? Carrying, pushing, pulling, and lifting 50
lbs.
? Working outdoors for prolonged periods of time.
