50 an hour 21 hours ago 21 hours ago 21 hours ago Paw Pals is looking to hire energetic and skilled dog daycare and boarding attendants to provide care to dogs in group play and/or one-on-one boarding time.
The attendant's responsibilities include observing and assessing behavioral patterns in dogs, exercising dogs as needed, and utilizing various dog-training techniques to encourage positive group play and correct problematic behaviors.
You should also be able to disinfect all play and exercise equipment as required and perform opening or closing cleaning tasks.
To be successful as a pack leader, you should be observant, patient, and adept at handling different breeds and sizes of dogs.
Ultimately, an outstanding pack leader should be able to remain calm in difficult situations as well as demonstrate exceptional communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
Dog Handler
Responsibilities:
Manage groups of dogs between 10-15 Monitoring dogs during assigned play and socialization times to prevent accidents or injuries.
Consistently evaluating dogs to ensure proper play and safety.
Ensuring that all sleep, play, and training areas are clean and sanitary.
Assisting in providing food and medication to dogs.
Promptly reporting injuries, accidents, or medical issues to management.
Maintain great customer service with clients Prepare facility for opening and closing shifts including setting security, cleaning, and maintenance Dog Handler Requirements:
High school diploma or GED.
Proven experience working as a Dog Handler.
The ability to handle different breeds and sizes of dogs.
The ability to work with minimal supervision.
The ability to remain calm in difficult situations.
Excellent problem-solving, time management, and organizational skills.
Exceptional communication and customer service skills.
A love for dogs.
An observant, alert, and patient disposition.
Preferred:
Completion of an approved Dog Handler training program Job Type:
