Responsibilities:
Supervises the receiving, storing, packing and shipping of merchandise or materials.
Maintains stock records and schedules.
Directs, trains and motivates hourly UAW employees in a world class logistics facility.
Responsible for all operations goals and targets pertaining to safety, quality, delivery, cost, morale and the environment.
Active involvement with the workforce to improve operations through continuous improvement activities.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree
Must have 18
months supervisory experience
Must be willing to work any shift
Microsoft Office experience
Must meet immigration requirements
PREFERRED
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or Logistics
Excellent team building and facilitation skills
Excellent communication skills -- both verbal and written
Proven problem solving skills
Experience in unionized environment and contract negotiations
COMPENSATION:
$54,000 or competitive.
$1,800 annually towards an individual healthcare plan.
10 Holidays and 15 Vacation Days.
